The Yimei Environmental Wastewater Treatment Plant: When you first walk into a wastewater treatment secondary treatment (and I imagine we have all wondered what one of those looks like) the first thing that strikes you are these massive tanks. These tanks carry all the contaminated water outlet from various factories and industries. The water is then sent through pipes that are many miles long in addition to various filters and machines whose sole purpose is purifying it. The plant's various processes are watched over by many workers to maintain smooth and simple functioning.
Well, for one thing the dirty water shows up at the plant very trashy; it has rocks and sticks and even little bits of plastic. The water then proceeds to a grit chamber, where sand and small stones are removed from the flow. Failure to do so can damage the environment and be hazardous for health if this water is not properly treated. Take untreated dirty water, for example; when this gets into rivers or lakes it can let out heavy metals which is extremely dangerous to plants/animals/people who rely on such source of waters.

This makes sure that after the polluted water is ultimately being poured back into it is source, it will be clean to a level. The process assures that our water is safe to drink and would improve sanitation. Additionally, companies are able to reuse and recycle water - Saving on their water bill.
