Call it wastewater. Wastewater is the water we use in our homes and places of work for many different purposes. We make wastewater (flush down the toilet, while bathing or brushing our teeth, when washing dishes and even any time we wash clothes). But where does this water go once we have used it? So, what does that water do? It does not go back into rivers or wetlands, instead it is taken to a special location called a water treatment plant where is made safe.
